A most attractive mews style house, forming part of a small and exclusive development of well appointed properties, located in the charming village of Oving.
Enjoying a quiet village environment, this attractively conceived well-appointed 3 bedroomed mews style house provides contemporary and well thought out accommodation over two floors.
To the front, the property is approached by an attractively laid brick-built pathway to an ornate entrance porch. Upon entering the property there is an entrance hall which gives access to the sitting room. This comfortable room enjoys a focal point open fireplace with adjacent cabinetry and book casing, whilst twin deep sash windows overlook the rear garden. The kitchen/dining room is fitted with a good range of cupboards and integral appliances, and benefits from a double aspect with French doors opening out to the rear garden. A cloakroom completes the ground floor accommodation.
To the first floor there is a spacious landing with access to the principal bedroom, with built in wardrobe and an en suite shower room. Two further bedrooms, both with garden views, are complimented by the modern four piece family bathroom.
The rear garden is fully enclosed and incorporates a patio that extends to an area of lawn, whilst enjoying a view of the church spire. A wrought iron gate provides side access to the front of the property, where an allocated parking space, together with a shared visitor space, can be found. To the rear, a carport of brick and timber construction provides under cover parking for one car. This is shared with neighbouring properties but has an allocated space and incorporates a wooden store.
The property is situated within the centre of the popular village of Oving, three miles distant of the cathedral city of Chichester. The village has a beautiful church, village hall and popular public house and is ideally situated for access to the South Downs National Park and Chichester Harbour. Chichester offers a broad range of shopping, cultural and leisure facilities including the renowned Festival Theatre, galleries, museums and restaurants. Aside from sailing, leisure facilities within the area include golf at either Goodwood or Hunston, bathing from the beaches off West Wittering and the National Trust owned East Head, horse riding and walking around the harbour and on The Downs. Horseracing may be enjoyed at Goodwood, whilst the annual Festival of Speed, and Revival meetings are hosted at Goodwood motor circuit.
Communications are excellent with a mainline station providing a regular service to London Victoria in about 1 hour 40 minutes, and Havant station provides a faster service to London Waterloo in about 1 hour 20 minutes. The A27 trunk road provides access to Worthing and Brighton to the east and Portsmouth, Havant and Southampton to the west. There are several choices of vehicle routes to London, but the closest is probably the A286 from Chichester via Midhurst, joining the A3 at Milford. The alternative is the A27 joining the A3 at Havant.
