Jonathan started his career at Mills and Wood, based in London’s West End, in 2007 joining as a sandwich student whilst studying Real Estate Management at university. Jonathan then rejoined Grant Mills Wood in 2009 following graduation from Kingston University.
His early career at Grant Mills Wood, as a Graduate Surveyor to Associate, was centred on industrial and office agency in Northwest London then moving to regional development consultancy on behalf of Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. In 2013 he joined Lidl UK GmbH as an acquisitions manager. This role involved all stages of food store delivery from appraising the initial financial viability to securing a satisfactory planning consent.
In June 2015 Jonathan joined Flude Commercial at their Chichester office focusing on business space agency. This role was focused on advising private and institutional clients on the disposal of freehold and leasehold commercial property in West Sussex. After being approached by JLL, Jonathan joined the UK largest industrial agency business working jointly from JLL’s Southampton and Warwick Street offices. As an Associate Director at JLL Jonathan headed up the industrial team in Southampton, covering industrial instructions from Bournemouth in the west to Worthing in the east. Projects in this central south coast market ranged from 500 sq ft to 340,000 sq ft industrial/warehouse properties, acting for clients such as Mountpark, LaSalle Investment Management, Aviva Investors, Kier, Hermes, Chichester District Council, GlaxoSmithKline, and Adur & Worthing Councils.
In 2020 Jonathan joined Manhire LLP, with the company associating with Tod Anstee in 2024. Since 2010 Jonathan has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
